بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
All praise is for Allah alone, the Lord of all creation.
Alhamdulillaah, we have been established in Nigeria for a number of years now striving to connect the Nigerian people with the Scholars of the Sunnah and their Students.
Over the past years, through some of our respected teachers, we have sought advice from ‘Ulemaa’ such as al-‘Allaamah Rabee ibn Haadee al-Madkhali, al-‘Allaamah Ubayd ibn Abdullaah al-Jaabiree and others (حفظهم الله).
Alhamdulillaah, we are regularly in touch with Mashaayikh and well known students of knowledge, and when possible we have had tele-links and lessons with likes of Shaykh ‘Abdullaah adh-Dhafiri, Shaykh ‘Arafat al-Muhammadi and Shaykh Bander al-Khaybari (حفظهم الله) as well as our beloved teachers from the West: Abu Khadeejah, Abu Iyaad Amjad Rafeeq, Dr. Abdulilah Lahmami, Abu Idris, Uwais at-Taweel and Kashif Khan (حفظهم الله).
Following the advice of Dr. Abdulilaah, we have been having regular Saturday lessons since 2013 taught by our teacher, Ustaadh Abu Abdir-Rahmaan Uways Taweel (حفظه الله). Some books we have completed so far include:
- The Four Fundamentals
- The Six Principles
- The Three Principles
- 40 Hadeeth of Imaam an-Nawawi
- Umdatul-Ahkaam – Some Sections from the Book of Fasting (Ramadan 1441)
- Umdatul-Ahkaam – Book of Purification (Ongoing since Shawwaal 1441)
- ‘Aqeedah of al-Raziyyaan (Ongoing since Shawwaal 1441)
Earlier on, we were moving from one location to another because we did not have a place of our own. We even had lessons in our individual cars. By the blessing of Allaah, a few years ago, we were able to rent a place where we will continue our weekly lessons, inshaa’Allaah, and plan to hold various other classes for the community, including;
- Telelinks with Scholars and students of knowledge
- Arabic lessons
- Qur’ān classes for men, women and children.
