Lesson 19: The ‘Aqeedah (Creed) of al-Raaziyyaan – Uways at-Taweel
Explanation of Points #28 & #29 of the ‘Aqeedah of al-Raziyyaan:
وَالنَّاسُ مُؤْمِنُونَ فِي أَحْكَامِهِم ومَوَارِيثِهِم وَلا نَدْرِي مَا هُمْ عِنْدَ اللهِ عَزَّوَجَلَّ
فَمَنْ قَالَ إِنَّهُ مُؤْمِنٌ حَقًّا فَهُوَ مُبْتَدِعٌ وَمَنْ قَالَ هُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ عِنْدَ اللهِ فَهُوَ مِنَ الكَاذِبِينَ وَمَنْ قَالَ هُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ بِاللهِ فَهُوَ مُصيبٌ[28. The people (Muslims) are considered believers as far as the regulations (of Islam) and inheritance are concerned, and we do not know their true status with Allah. So, whoever says that he is a true believer, then he is an innovator. And whoever says that he is a believer in the sight of Allah, then he is from the liars. And whoever says that he is a believer in Allah in truth, then he is upon correctness.]
وَالمُرْجِئَةُ مُبْتَدِعَةٌ ضُلَّالٌ
[29. The Murji’ah are misguided innovators.]
