Book of Fasting – Umdatul-Ahkam (Class 6) – Uways at-Taweel

Hadeeths 7 & 8 from the 2nd Section of the Book of Fasting from Umdatul-Ahkam.

This 6th lesson was the last lesson in this series and it includes the following:

1. A brief biography of the beloved cousin of the Messenger of Allaah, a Scholar from among the Companions, ‘Abdullaah ibn ‘Abbaas – may Allaah be pleased with him and his father.
2. The ruling of making up missed obligatory fasts on behalf of a deceased person and some different ways of making them up.
3. A brief discussion regarding Qiyaas (Analogy) and it’s place in deriving rulings in the religion; along with some examples of correct analogies and false, incorrect analogies.

The class was held on Saturday, the 7th of Shawwaal 1441 (30th of May 2020).
