Lesson 5: The ‘Aqeedah (Creed) of al-Raaziyyaan – Uways at-Taweel
In this fifth lesson on the Aqeedah of al-Raziyyaan, our teacher explains the 4th, 5th and 6th points in the treatise where the author says:
وخَيرُ هذه الأمة بعد نبيها عليه الصلاة والسلامُ: أَبُو بكر الصِّديق ثُمَّ عُمَر بنُ الخطَّاب ثُمَّ عُثْمَان بنُ عَفَّان ثُمَّ علي بنُ أبي طالب – رضي الله عنهم وهم الخلفاء الراشدون المهديون
[The best of this Ummah after its Prophet (may Allah raise his rank & grant him peace) is Abu Bakr as-Siddeeq, then ‘Umar ibn Al-Khattab, then ‘Uthmaan ibn ‘Affaan, then ‘Alee ibn Abee Taalib (may Allah be pleased with them) and they are the Rightly Guided Caliphs.]
وأنَّ العَشَرَةَ الذين سماهم رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وشهد لهم بالجنة على ما شهد به رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وقوله الحق
[And [then] the ten whom Allah’s Messenger (may Allah raise his rank and grant him peace) named and bore witness that for them is Paradise – and his speech is the truth.]
والترحم على جميع أصحاب محمد والكفُّ عما شجر بَينَهم
[And to invoke the Mercy of Allah for all the Companions of Muhammad (may Allah raise his rank and grant him peace) and to withhold from speaking about the disputes that may have occurred between them.]
